This lesson describes the DomainUpDown control

DomainUpDown

This control displays a list of items that the user can select by clicking the up and down arrow buttons on its right.
For instance, the they can select one of the values High, Medium, and Low.

If you set the InterceptArrowKeys property to True, the user can also scroll through the items by using the up and down arrow keys, but if it's False, the user must click the arrow buttons to change the value.

Same like the CheckedListBox control, the DomainUpDown can hold arbitrary objects as items where SelectedItem property returns the currently selected object.

Its Text property returns the text that is currently displayed, which can be something that user typed or an item that the user selected from the list.

example

To select an item programmatically you may use the following code:

    DomainUpDown1.SelectedIndex = 0
