This lesson describes the ToolTip control
This component allows you to provide tooltip help when you hover the mouse over another control.
After you add a ToolTip component to a form, the other controls on the form get a special ToolTip property.
For example, suppose that you create a ToolTip component named ToolTip1. Then a TextBox on the form would have a new property named "ToolTip on ToolTip1."
Set that property to the text you want the ToolTip to display, and you are all set.
Similar to HelpProvider you set the ToolTip programmatically:
ToolTip1.SetToolTip(TextBox1, "This field is required.")Previous Lesson | Next Lesson
